Ukrainian refugees who bear the cost of board and housing themselves may receive financial support in the amount of DKK 150 per adult per day and DKK 75 per child per day.
Ukrainian refugees may receive these benefits by applying in person at Borgerservice (Citizens’ Services), Horsens City Hall, Rådhustorvet 4. Ukrainian refugees must bring their passports. The office is open 10-15 on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, 10-17 on Thursdays, and 10-13 on Fridays. Children do not have to come along.
Upon payment of the benefits, the recipient’s name, current address, birthday, and date of payment will be registered. Benefits may be back-dated as far as 10th of March 2022.
There is no compensation available for Danes for sheltering and feeding refugees from Ukraine.
