Centrally situated in Jutland
In Horsens, we have a centrally placed train station with great connections to the surrounding areas. To commuters this is a great advantage.
You can for instance reach Aarhus (Denmark’s second largest city) in 30 minutes and Vejle in just 15 minutes making it easy to commute.
A train departs from Horsens to Copenhagen approximately every half hour. Depending on the route you can reach the main railroad station in Copenhagen in 2,5-3 hours or Kastrup airport in approximately 3 hours.

Planning your journey
Time tables can be found at the Railway Station or you can plan your journey at www.rejseplanen.dk (switch to English or German in the top right corner).
If you are a student (or below 26) you can get a “Wild Card” giving you up to a 50% discount to train rides. For further information see www.dsb.dk (in Danish).
You can also buy tickets called “Orange”, which are cheaper train tickets, but they must be booked well in advance. Read more about this here (in Danish).
Please note: Be aware that you will need to buy a ticket before boarding the train or you risk a fine.
